In the past few years Lisa Mostin has become known for the specialized coloratura roles in MozartStrauss and the virtuosic French and Italian repertoire. During the 2016-2017 season, Lisa covered the role of Valentine in Meyerbeer's Les Huguenots at the Deutsche Oper Berlin with Juan Diego Florez, Patrizia Ciofi, Michele Mariotti, David Alden. She performed at the Deutsche Oper Berlin in Rolando Villazon's staging of La Rondine conducted by Roberto Rizzi Brignoli and in Death in Venice staged by Graham Vick and conducted by Donald Runnicles.

She made her house debut as the Queen of the Night
 in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam and made her debut as Konstanze in Belgium. She will be reprising the role of Kostanze during the 2017-18 season at Theatre Görlitz.

For the 2018/19 season, she has been cast in the role of Dede in Bernstein’s
A Quiet Place, at Opera Zuid. At the last moment, she was called in for Danielle de Niese as Adele at La Monnaie during rehearsals in a staging of Guy Joosten and conducted by Adam Fischer. During a live radio concert in Amsterdam she sang "O mio babbino caro" when Tania Kross received the Radio 4 Music Award, representing the Nederlandse Reisopera. Lisa was a finalist of the International Clermont-Ferrand Singing Competition and the Maastricht Rotary Award.

Ms Mostin has built up an impressive repertoire in the ensembles of Theater Görlitz and the Volkstheater Rostock in Germany singing roles like Marie in La Fille du Régiment, The Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöt'Susanna in Le Nozze di FigaroMusetta in La BohèmeAdele in Die FledermausOscar in Un Ballo in MascheraEurydice in Orpheus in der UnterweltSoprano in Carmina Burana, soprano in The Fairy Queen.

Lisa Mostin created the difficult coloratura role of Aristide in Moritz Eggert’s opera Linkerhand as well as the role of Franziska during the world premiere of Georg Kreisler's Das Aquarium oder die Stimme der Vernunft.  She is a strong advocate for the operetta repertoire and has often sung for the Brussels Operetta Theater in productions of works by LéharStolz and Offenbach.

She studied at the conservatory in Maastricht with Axel Everaert and specialized in bel canto in Florence with Margherita Rinaldi
She had the privilege to study with June Anderson, Martina Arroyo, Barbara Bonney, Ileana Cotrubas, Cecilia Gasdia, Sylvia GesztyBonaldo GiaiottiSumi JoTom Krause and Nelly Miricioiù.
